The Client Brief
Our clients envisioned a generous kitchen island with a light, relaxed coastal style that complemented the character and lifestyle of their Palm Beach home.
The Design Solution
The cooktop was relocated to the island, allowing space for four elevated ovens and a dedicated appliance cabinet to neatly house small appliances and the coffee machine.
The Result
The result is an impressive 5-metre island incorporating both the sink and induction cooktop, while still providing generous bench space for preparation and entertaining.
A dropped ceiling was custom framed above the island to accommodate a flush-mounted ceiling rangehood with external ducting, maintaining a clean and streamlined look. Four Gaggenau ovens were elevated to the desired height for easy access, while the existing walk-in cool room and fridge were retained as part of the overall design.
