The Client Brief

Our client wanted a more efficient and functional kitchen to overcome issues with the existing layout, which included a cramped cooking area, limited bench space, and under-bench storage that was difficult to access. The goal was to create a custom kitchen design that felt open, modern, and highly practical for everyday use.

The Design Solution

The new design extended the length of the kitchen, allowing for a more open configuration. By relocating the sink and cooktop, we achieved a highly efficient workflow and created space for a full wall of tall cabinetry. This wall included an appliance cabinet for small appliances, a wall oven tower for accessibility, and an integrated fridge with poly panels for a seamless aesthetic. The addition of a walk-in pantry also optimised corner access, a solution we often recommend in our cabinetry and storage designs. To further enhance usability, we incorporated BLUM drawers throughout the kitchen, ensuring everything is within easy reach and neatly organised.

The Result

The finished kitchen feels modern and sleek, with a more spacious and inviting atmosphere. A full wall of flush cabinetry brings a streamlined look, while practical inclusions like a bi-fold appliance cabinet and German-engineered corner unit provide clever, ergonomic solutions. The balance of integrated appliances and custom detailing reflects the high level of craftsmanship our custom joinery is known for.
