Hamptons Kitchen

Hamptons Kitchen Designs Sydney

A Hamptons kitchen brings a relaxed, coastal elegance to the heart of the home. It pairs classic detailing with a light, open feel, which is why it has stayed one of Sydney’s most popular looks. KitchenKraft has built Hamptons kitchens for Sydney families since 1963, and that experience shapes how we approach the style.

The style takes its cues from the beach houses of Long Island, adapted to suit how Sydney families live. Crisp shaker cabinetry, stone benchtops, and a soft, neutral palette work alongside other kitchen design styles, usually in an open-plan layout filled with natural light.

Hamptons Kitchen Styles We Design in Sydney

The Hamptons look can take on a few different personalities, from crisp and classic to softer, more coastal interpretations. The right version depends on the character of your home and the way you use the kitchen.

Classic Hamptons. Crisp white shaker cabinetry, marble or stone benchtops, and subway tiles for the timeless, coastal look.

Modern Hamptons. The same detailing pared back, with cleaner profiles and handleless options for a more contemporary feel.

Coastal Hamptons. Soft blues, navy island bases, and natural textures that lean into the breezy, beach-house side of the style.

Two-tone Hamptons. A white perimeter with a contrasting island in navy, charcoal, or timber to anchor an open-plan space.

Country Hamptons. Warmer timber tones and traditional detailing for a softer, more relaxed take that suits older Sydney homes.

Designed and Built Under One Roof

Getting the Hamptons look right comes down to the details, and that is exactly where outsourced manufacturing tends to fall. KitchenKraft keeps design, cabinetmaking, and installation together under one team. Nothing gets lost in translation between the people who plan your kitchen and the people who build it.

Your designer knows exactly how the joinery will be made and fitted, keeping the finished kitchen true to the plan you approved. It is the same hands-on approach we bring to kitchen renovations across Sydney.

This kind of control counts for a great deal in the Hamptons style. Shaker fronts, panelling, and trims have to line up cleanly, or the whole look loses its polish. Whether you are reworking an existing kitchen or fitting out a new kitchen, that precision is built in from the start.

How Your Hamptons Kitchen Comes Together

Design Consultation

It begins with a relaxed, no-obligation chat at our Ryde showroom, where we talk through the feel you are after, from classic white-on-white to softer coastal tones.

The showroom has full Hamptons kitchens on display, so you can run your hand over the shaker profiles, compare stone and timber finishes, and weigh up handle choices. We then bring it together in a 3D design set to your own measurements, so the look is clear before anything is ordered.

In-House Manufacturing

With the design locked in and a fixed-price quote agreed, your custom cabinetry and joinery go into production in-house at our Sydney workshop on German CNC machinery. Every shaker door, panel, and moulding is cut to your room rather than ordered as a standard size, finished with BLUM hardware and checked at each step.

Installation and Aftercare

Our installers handle the full fit-out and bring in the plumber, electrician, and gas fitter as needed, tidying the site at the end of each day. Once everything is in, we walk you through the finished kitchen, and we stay reachable for any small adjustments as you live with it.

We are extremely happy with our renovated kitchen done by KitchenKraft. It was smooth sailing from start to finish, with all the staff exemplary and a pleasure to work with. Kate helped us with the design. She was creative, intuitive, positive about what we could achieve right from the start. Every section of the work was efficiently executed and we were amazed at how quickly the work was completed. Franz was also very helpful and encouraging. Rabi was our main carpenter and it was a pleasure to have him in our home. He was polite, respectful, extremely skilful and very patient with our questions. We live in an apartment and Rabi was always concerned about keeping the noise level down whenever possible. He cleaned everything up so thoroughly at the end there was nothing much for us to do! We highly recommend KitchenKraft to anyone planning a new or renovated kitchen. Every section of the company was professional and very efficient. and every person a pleasure to work with. We suggest you look no further!

Had a great experience with KitchenKraft during the design and quoting process for my kitchen renovation. Stephen was incredibly thoughtful and professional throughout, and it’s clear he’s very experienced in kitchen design. He offered some genuinely creative suggestions that I hadn’t considered and took the time to really understand what I was after. In the end I decided to go with another company, mainly due to budget rather than anything to do with KitchenKraft themselves. Their service and design quality were excellent, and I’d happily recommend them to anyone looking for a well thought out kitchen.

This is a long over due review. We not so recently had our kitchen renovated by Kitchen Kraft. From start to finish it was delight. Kate who helped us design our kitchen was a delight to work with. She was very patient and gave lots of design suggestions. Demolition of the old kitchen was neatly done and everything was cleared. Rabi the builder was excellent. Tiler and electrician provided by KK also did great job. Overall we had a very positive experience. The quality of the workmanship was top notch.

The team at KitchenKraft are nothing short of amazing! We renovated our kitchen with them last year, and Kate was a mastermind in working out how we can get a kitchen breakfast bar bench and plenty of storage! Kate and the whole team who assembled our kitchen have exceptional hospitality. 12 months has passed and our kitchen is as amazing as day one! Highly recommend!

Look no further than KitchenKraft—they are simply the best. The service and quality of our new kitchen at Breakfast Point have become the standout feature of our back-to-bones renovation and a real talking point among family and friends. What first impressed Mandy and me was their outstanding Google reviews, and we're so glad we decided to engage them. Kate is a true professional—extremely knowledgeable, highly experienced, and full of fantastic ideas and suggestions. Despite living on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, she never hesitated to visit our project after hours on several occasions, even with a long journey home to her family. Her commitment and dedication were exceptional. It wasn't just Kate, either. The entire KitchenKraft team exceeded our expectations at every stage and delivered an outstanding result. Nothing was ever too much trouble, from helping us select the perfect stone to managing the timeline and ensuring every detail was completed to the highest standard. The quality of the finished kitchen is truly high-end. If you're considering a new kitchen, you'll probably visit several kitchen companies before making a decision. Make sure KitchenKraft is at the top of your list. We simply can't recommend them highly enough!

The Kitchenkraft team installed our kitchen in 2015. Recently the range hood required a service and the company helped us out by sending a team member to take it out for repair ( the repair company was reluctant to do this) and reinstall. Nothing was too much trouble and a shout out to Andrew for facilitating this; Carl and Raby for helping resolve the issue with friendly professional service and good humour. After they left today almost 10 years to the day when it was completed I looked around and had a feeling of Deja Vu as I looked at my "brand new" kitchen once again. Because in truth with care it looks much as it did 10 years ago, the drawers still run smoothly; the cupboards still close quietly. I cannot recommend this company highly enough for a trustworthy organisation that has exceptional customer service and who take pride in their people and their craftsmanship. THANK YOU.

Thank you to everyone at KitchenKraft for turning my tired and rundown kitchen into a beautiful, highly functional space. My experience started with Emily's excellent customer service at the showroom, and the level of professionalism never dropped, especially Kate's patient and expert design input to Karl's careful oversight of the rennovation. All tradesmen were a pleasure to have in my home. Even when I raised a couple of queries during the process I was listened to and not treated as a problem. Everyone made the whole process so smooth. Excellent communication, attention to detail, and no short cuts. My experience was as per all the five-star reviews. I love, love, love my new kitchen! I can't recommend the team at KitchenKraft highly enough. Thank you Kate, Karl, and team. Marianne (Lewisham)

Hamptons Kitchen FAQs

What defines a Hamptons kitchen design?

A Hamptons kitchen is defined by shaker-style cabinetry, a light and neutral colour palette, and a balance of classic detail with relaxed coastal warmth. Features like framed cabinet doors, soft whites, natural textures, island benches, stone benchtops, and elegant hardware help create that calm coastal character.

What is the difference between a Hamptons and a country-style kitchen?

Hamptons kitchens are usually lighter, more refined and more coastal in feel, with crisp cabinetry and soft neutral tones. Country-style kitchens tend to lean warmer and more rustic, often using timber finishes, farmhouse details and a more lived-in character.

What colours work best in a Hamptons kitchen?

White, soft grey, warm neutral and muted blue tones are some of the most popular colours for a Hamptons kitchen. These shades keep the space feeling fresh and timeless, while timber, stone, brushed nickel or brass accents can add depth and warmth.

Do Hamptons kitchens work with modern appliances?

Timber fModern appliances can be integrated beautifully into a Hamptons kitchen without taking away from the classic look. Induction cooktops, integrated fridges, concealed rangehoods and built-in ovens can sit neatly within custom cabinetry for a clean, practical finish.

Can a Hamptons kitchen suit a smaller home?

A Hamptons kitchen can work very well in a smaller home because the light palette and clean cabinetry help the space feel brighter and more open. Custom storage, slimline profiles and careful layout planning can bring the style in without making the room feel crowded.

Can KitchenKraft tailor a Hamptons kitchen to my home?

KitchenKraft designs each Hamptons kitchen around the layout, proportions and character of the individual home. That allows the cabinetry, trims, panelling, colours and storage to be made precisely for the way the space needs to look and function.
